The Power Of Contentment

Virutues are to be acquired and imbibed in our lives so that we can achieve our goals and live happily. You can set goals, take step to implement them and even succeed at it but if one virtue that I will reveal to you shortly is missing, there is no guarantee that your success will be permanent.
Contentment is a golden virtue that guarantees success.

Someone once said that the inventory of the richest man in the world who lived in happiness at that time include the following:

1. Happiness through helping others

2. Sound health by temperate living

3. Love and respect for manking

4. Engaging in labour of love

5. Daily prayers not for riches but for more wisdom

6. Speaking no guile of anyone.

7. Sharing blessings with those who desire them

8. Being in good terms with conscience

9. Freedom from greed

10. Working in concert with natures' laws

As I ponder over these virtues, I see contentment written all over it. In the bible, we read in 1 Timothy 6 verse 7 that 'we brought nothing into this world and it is certain that we can carry nothing out'. Living in contentment means accepting your present situation and living happily in it while looking forward to better days ahead.

The power of contentment will work for you when you seek not what is not yours. You want to work hard to merit your own blessings and wealth. The power of contentment makes you to stay in good and sound health so you can live long to enjoy the fruits of your labour. This is a vital key to success. Use it for maximum profit.
